Tell Me - What do you think?

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 11:30 PM

It all comes back to me at this time of the year why I say that I mosey along in my blog. Truth of it, I hardly ever mosey in anything I do.

Between the workshops for our New Bee Homeschoolers starting back this week, our Not Back to School Geography Quest that we planned for our group, still making curriculum choices and just starting my school year, all kinds of craziness has been happening here.

My voice is still hoarse from the workshop because they are a full 2 hours long and I don't stop talking take a break. I am passionate I tell you about helping new homeschoolers.  Did I tell you that is another secret in how I stay on the homeschoooling course? I get in a room with a bunch of new homeschoolers who have been touched by the homeschooling fever and bask in it all night long, all year, every workshop....

I know they think I am helping them but I am the one that feels so blessed when I can mentor them. Remember if you have a friend that is starting to homeschool, our first workshop, "Here We Go" is FREE on our site.

I think the rest of this month, all two days of it, I will spend trying to finalize my curriculum choices. I still haven't shared that with you and the small changes we made to our learning area. Well I guess I do not have even the whole two days to do that because hubby has a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Why do I still get scared when we have these follow up visits?

But today I wanted to ask you something instead....

I am so over the top about my Blog Planner and I finally figured out why. I heart that the inside pages are color too. {If you are a new follower, you can download my Free Blog Planner here. I have a page too for you that does not have the title Blog Planner on it if you don't blog. I don't waste a purrtyy form. This way you can use it for anything you want to track. You can read about it and download it at the link.}

{inside pages of my Blog Planner or General Planner}

When I first started making planners, they were all black and white. I still hold to my roots and make copies that are black and white. But my first love has always been color. I just didn't know in sharing them with others if they would heart them as much as I did. Now, I know you do.

When I use the inside pages of my Blog Planner this month, it puts a kick in my day when I see color.

So tell me, what do you think? If I made the inside planning pages for the Curriculum Planner in color would you like that or stick to black and white?

Because I am obsessed meticulous in how they look and the layout, this is a long term project that I may start when I take off from blogging in the fall. It takes a longer time to do all 180 pages but I am really feeling the itch bad to go ahead and make the whole curriculum planner in color.

I have the next set of art printable pages finished. I will be sharing my art dilemma next.

I was inspired by this quote today. This month has been totally crazy insane but I have survived with two days to spare. As my sappiness comes and go because this is the last year for Mr. Senior 2013, I will be grateful for each day and moment spent with him this last year. Treasure each school year. It's true that before you know it, it is passing.

"Be fearless. Have the courage to take risks. Go where there are no guarantees. Get out of your comfort zone even if it means being uncomfortable. The road less traveled is sometimes fraught with barricades bumps and uncharted terrain. But it is on that road where your character is truly tested. And have the courage to accept that you're not perfect, nothing is and no one is -- and that's OK."

~ Katie Couric~

When you get time, holler at me and weigh in on the color versus black and white inside planning pages. I am pondering......

You know I love ya,
