11. Grading Sheet - Purpose of Form: If you live in state a where a grade is required of we like to keep grades because it gives your child a sense of accomplishment Editable Too!

Like all my forms and to help along in organization this form too has on it subjects that are covered from Pre-K to High School. However, there is plenty of room to "tweak" the subjects for each child.

The only difference between the two forms (which is really the same form) is that one you decide the grading scale and the other one I provide a very common grading scale.

I have provided an example of how to get the most out of my grading sheet and if you will download that to study it because it has notes on it, it will help you to understand it better.

My goal too in providing a grading sheet is not to give you a BUNCH of blank lines (pleazzzzzzzzzzz).lol... that is no help but to put enough information that you see what the basic subjects are plus enough flexibility that you can make it work for you.

The form does have 3 children on one page. It's not that I like the number 3  (lol) but that is about how many spaces fit nicely on one page.

This form is EDITABLE or you can simply print off and fill out by hand if you choose to.

Remember BOTH forms are "editable" and are the same except one form you add your grading scale and the other the grading scale is provided.

  12. Grade Keeper - Purpose of Form: The purpose of the grade keeper is for you to either keep grades one one page for the year OR to track specific major assignments, tests and projects perhaps for an older child, or for states like New York that have more stringent laws for recording grades. It is one child per page. You decide. One page has the subjects typed in for you and the other page is completely editable

13. Class Schedule/Teacher Schedule - Purpose of Form: To prepare one for Student to track his time; To prepare one for Teacher so that you as teacher can see what each student is suppose to be working on during any given period; Teacher's Schedule is to help you remember which time is for which child or group of children.

 Editable Too!

About this form: You cannot expect your child to learn to balance his time or track it if we as teachers don't provide a visual expectation of their class schedule. This will go a long way in avoiding head butting because you have taken the time to put your expectations to "pen".

Here is a picture with some of my notes on how to fill out the student schedule.

You can simply print this off and fill it in as you like, or edit it by typing in what you want. Organizing Tip: Print off a copy for their Student Planner if they are old enough to have one. Print off a copy for their work area. Print off a copy to put in your planner so you can review {I write on my copy to change the schedule if need be for next term}

About the Teacher's Schedule. Editable Too!

This has to be one of my very favorite organizing forms because it truly keeps me on task. It is what I call the MASTER SCHEDULE or the Teacher's Schedule. By one glance I can tell which child I am suppose to be working with and on what subject.

Guess what ? It saves me money and tons of grief {lol} It saves me grief because I don't buy lots of curriculum or have grandiose ideas of what I can actually accomplish in the day or worse yet, not get in science or history because I did not balance my day correctly.  It is ALL written out. Schedule first, and all your subjects, plan for the day and time you give 1:1 to each child will stay balanced over the course of your homeschooling journey.

Not only did you "map" the schedule for your child, but you have an overview of where you plan to fit in all your children for the day. By putting  them individually in on the form or by groups (younger set of kids or older set of kids) this will provide the flow to your day.

I prefer to make new schedules for each term or if I use a different curriculum. This will always keep me accountable because I may need to re-do my schedule to be sure I am fitting in all my children and giving them equal time when it comes to each child's weakness.

Example of how to use the Teacher's Schedule below.

Here is my schedule for one term so you can review it as well.I sized it real big so you could review it and get some tips on how to set up your Master Schedule. Hopefully between this picture and the one above, you feel more equipped to manage your time.
