I'm Back & 2013 Calendar Planner Pages in Color

Posted by Dynamic 2 Moms Homeschooling Adventures on December 25, 2012 at 10:05 AM

It sounds so dramatic to say "I'm Back". The phrase reminds me of those old corny game shows. The ones that I don't want anybody knowing that I like to watch. One thing that is not dramatic is how much I missed you.

I kept thinking during my one long break that I would be able to come back sooner than I did, but it didn't turn out that way. Year after year, I weigh out if I should take time off during the summer versus having more time at the end of the year. For me, the end of the year wins hands down. I find too the longer I homeschool, the less time I actually take off from school during the summer. Our last workshop for New Bees ends in November and doesn't start back up until January, so for me, the end of the year is my "summer". I think wresting with schedules is something we never give up as long as we homeschool.

Stepping away from everything, except being with family, just puts a whole new zest on everything for the new year.

Now that I am recharged, I need to decide where to start at with what I want to share with you. So much to share but first things first. I have some updated  forms for your planners for the new year. The first two forms are two color choices for the 2013 two page spread calendars. I had one color choice on the website already, but I added another choice and new font.  My obsession for font love continues.

Also, the form that has 5 years of holidays on one page in column form has been updated to includes years 2013 - 2017.  I have two color choices for that form too. I have a reason for sending these 2013 pages now besides the new year. {Hint Hint: I have something new coming for you. I won't make you wait too long to find out. If you are getting ready to make a new planner, you might want to wait for a week or so if you can.}

** I realize that not everybody needs such extensive notes and details about printing the 2 page spread calendar, but my personality is all about the details. I know that some of you will need the notes so I always include the printing details in my notes. If you don't need the printing details, then go on straight to double sided printing.

Besides catching up on school and enjoying family time, the end of the year is always our time to update our websites. That is not something I look forward to when I stop for a break but something I like after its updated.  New Bee Homeschooler site got a major facelift. Have you been by lately to see it?

Dynamic 2 Moms got a facelift too.

When I stopped for my break, we were on our FBI Unit Study. I have some posts to share with you about the hands-on experiments we did and oh yes I have not forgotten the newest lapbook. I promise to get all those things to you. Like I mentioned though, I have a surprise first for you that I think you will like but have to wait just a bit longer to tell you.

Sharing our latest unit study, hands on experiments, freebies and what our family has been doing along with some reviews thrown in there, I can't wait to share with you.

Even though I was impatient to get back to blogging as I steadily work on updating everything, I try to reflect also on being grateful for what I have this year. It reminded me of this quote.

"Never be afraid to fall apart because it is an opportunity to rebuild yourself the way you wish you had been all along."

Hugs you know I love ya,

"I'm Baaack" makes me think of Jack Nicholson in The Shining. Loved the camera effects in that movie!

Thanks for the printables - perfect timing too, I was just online trying to sort myself out for the upcoming month. Much appreciated!
